Chapter 11

Zion POV

I haven’t seen my brother since the day before yesterday, and I know he been blowing me off. I can’t wait until he tell me that he is messing with someone. I knew he couldn’t wait forever for his mate. I showered and got dress and went in search for my brother so we could go to breakfast together. We shared a floor together so I didn’t have to go far for him, but he wasn’t nowhere in his room. So I guess he had to be at the table already so I went down to join everyone else.

When I got down stairs I smelled the most delicious scent of oranges and rain water coming from the living room. I went to check out where it was coming from and seen the most delicate flower dusting everywhere that was dusty.

“She’s our mate, so you will have to stop screwing the one that is not our mate” Leo my wolf said

“Are you sure” I asked him

“Touch her, and you will find out” he said

I went up to her and she instantly turned around before I could touch her.

“Mate” I growled out

I grabbed her hand in mine, and the sparks that erupted in me just from the touch of her hand was enough to send me over the moon. I’ve never touched anyone that made me feel this damn good. Granted my c**k does all the feeling while my body is numb.

“Only our mate can make us feel this way” Leo said

The girl took her hand out of mine, and went back to what she was doing.

“She’s different, approach her differently. Introduce yourself you i***t” Leo said

“Okay, okay, no need for name calling” I told him

“Hi, my name is Zion” I said introducing myself

She didn’t seem impressed in the slightest bit, and that never happened to me.

“Hi Zion, I’m Veronica, it’s nice to meet you” she said and left the room

“Wtf, I didn’t know mates acted like that” I said to my wolf as I went to breakfast

“Something is wrong with our mate for the reason she acted that way” Leo said

“Hey everyone” I said as I sat down to eat

I couldn’t really enjoy my food I couldn’t keep my mind off of her, and the way she acted. All the mates I’ve seen are madly in love with each other, so what is different here.

“Hello, Zion is anyone there” my mom teased

“I’m sorry mom my mind is elsewhere. Can you repeat what you said please” I said to her

“One of those omegas got your head in the clouds. Don’t tell me you are in love” my twin said

“Never, you know I’m saving my love for my mate” I said

Which is why I have to get to the bottom of her acting so strangely.

“You have to cut the omega that you are sleeping with off” Leo reminded me

I barely finished my food before I left the table.

“Where are you going, you haven’t finished your breakfast” mom said

“I don’t have much of an appetite right now. I have some business to handle. I’ll see everyone at lunch” I said and disappeared

I went in search of Tammy, the omega I was sleeping with. I had to know more about this girl, and Tammy knew everyone and everything.

It didn’t take long to find her due to her always being in the same place, the laundry room.

“Tammy, we need to talk” I said as I pulled her to an area where no one could hear us.

“Ohh, I didn’t know you wanted this in the day time” she said as she wrapped her arms around my neck

I removed her arms from my neck, and started asking the questions I wanted the answers to.

“Have you met the new girl? What’s her name? Do you know anything about her?” I said all in one breath

She gave me a disgusted look as she rolled her eyes.

“Baby, I though we were having so much fun together. Why do you want to know about her?” She said pouting

“Just tell me what you know” I said

“Fine, well her name is Veronica and I don’t know where she came from. Grace and some of the other women found her naked and almost dead. I also seen your brother by her room one time” she said

My brother, I know he was messing with someone, but is that someone my mate. I thought to myself. I had to find out because if so he would have to end things with her immediately.

“So, how about I take care of you” she said as she got on her knees.

“I don’t have time for this” I said and pushed her out the way.

I had to talk to my brother to see if she is the one he is messing with.

Zayn Jr.. POV

I had to show my face today before someone noticed me not around like usual. I went to train, and work off some stress m**********n wasn’t doing it for me this time. I had to get these traumatic events out of my head. Seeing my mate on the brink of death like that scared the s**t out me. I wish she trusted me to make things better for her.

I just finished a match with one of the men when I noticed my brother was here.

“Hey bro, you’re never here. What brings you around?”I asked him

“Hey bro, I thought I’d come see you today, I didn’t see you all day yesterday. Can we talk?”he asked just as Mindy walked up putting her arms around me.

“Yea, sure” I said escaping her embrace and caught up with my twin

“What’s up, you were rather quiet at breakfast today. Having problems with Tammy” I asked him

“No, not really. You seeing anyone” he asked me

He knew how I felt about Mindy and knew it wasn’t her.

“Why you ask that?” I asked him

“Well, you’ve been acting weird since yesterday morning, and I knew you blew me off yesterday. I went looking for you and couldn’t find you anywhere” he said

Damn if I knew anyone would be looking for me it would’ve been my twin. I don’t have any other choice but to tell him.

“Let’s go grab some lunch” I said as we headed inside.

We would meet in our dining area on our floor for lunch. I went shower as Zion went to put in our lunch order.
