Chapter 22
When I was walking back through the park after the run with my dad, I was pleasantly surprised by the cute bundle of joy running excitedly towards me, shouting my name before launching himself at me. It is just as well that I have great reflexes, or I think the little ball of energy would have had us in a heap on the ground.
“Rayne, can you play with us too” he says excitedly, hugging me as I twirl him around, enjoying hearing his laughter.
“I am sure we have a little time for that before we have to go in to eat. What have you and Sam been doing” I ask.
“He has been showing me his magic” he says happily.
“Wow that sounds like so much fun” I say, matching his energy.
