My dad and I finally make it out of the castle, and I follow him to a park. It is not too busy, so it is the perfect spot to stop and chat for a while. We take a seat on one of the benches away from everyone, and at first, he just sits and watches me as if he is not sure what to say or can not believe I am actually here.
“Were you really finally ready to meet us, or was you just trying to be polite” he asks nervously, making me laugh.
