Teks got dressed while Mary laid naked in the bed. He did not want to leave right now but Zuyx never missed a second of schedule. He also knew the mission was important.
“Thank you for the money…one million dollars is very generous of you, my love.”
One million dollars? When and how ?
He left Zash’s body to be Teks and the body was said to act 95% the way he would act. What about the 5%?
He checked the memory of the things that happened when he was Dr. Teks. Okay, there was a lot of romance, smoking, drinking, and… she demanded for money. He had three million dollars and he gave one million dollars to her.
That was not him! That was part of the 5% period that Zash would not act like him. He could not give a lady one million dollars out of three million dollars.
What she he do?
Get it back?
No! This was Mary and she was very expensive. He was not in love with her but she held him captive. There was something about her that kept him glued. He remembered having loads of her pictures in bikini and skinny clothes. He would see her with a man and mentally replace the man, take her home and make love to her.
He knew she was a socialite and would never consider a street drug dealer so he felt so ethereal for having her as his woman now.
He had to keep her and that meant having more money and power.
These could only be achieved if the empire was established and tonight’s mission was imperative to achieve that.
“What is he still doing inside?” Zuyx said aloud from outside.
“I have to go.” Teks said. He needed Zash for the operation and could not leave the body and go in Dr. Tek’s body. Teks went outside to see Zuyx waiting for him inside the car
He got under the wheel and started the car engine and drove off.
“You are 0. 0001 second late.”
“That is negligible.”
“No time is negligible. A lot could happen in such a time.”
“You don’t get it; I have Mary in there and could not just leave her like I was leaving a robot. We have feelings; I know you won’t understand that?”
“Really? Tell me more about having feelings.”
“It can’t be explained, Zuyx. It can only be felt.”
“Whatever but just know that if you don’t keep to the exact time, you will have no one to express feeling for.”
“I can’t wait to know what exactly this so-called mission is all about.”
“We are just five minutes away. I am so excited.”
Five minutes later, Teks slowed the car by the entrance of Bellz Incorporated.
A security guards bent over and studied them.
“How may we help you at this time of the day?” He asked.
“I am a programmer and I am here to redirect RCG Nodes.”
“I am sorry Sir but we know nothing about your visit. May you identify yourself please?”
Teks showed him a fake ID card.
“Where is your Technician’s Pass?”
“What?”
“You cannot go in without it.”
“How did I miss that?” Zuyx said. “We don’t have that.”
“So what are we going to do?” Teks asked.
“Excuse me sir?” The security man asked, thinking Teks was speaking with him.
Zuyx looked at Teks.
“We don’t have any Pass and we must pass through. That leaves you with only one choice. There are two of them here, six in the building and that is just eight. I need you to intercept the radio waves here and disrupt the direction. That will affect the network for at least thirty minutes.
They can’t reach out to anyone outside here. Twenty minutes is enough for the whole thing. We know where they are.”
“What is the next step?”
“Are you so dumb? I just explained that. We must force our way in and that means shooting these murderf*ckers.”
Teks smiled. Subconsciously, he was beginning to love the feeling of pulling the trigger and someone falls dead.
“I got my pass...what did you call the pass?” Teks asked.
“Technician’s pass.”
“You are technically dead.”
Bang! Bang!
Teks fires two shots and sent him down. He felt that shake in his body that meant he just added more powers.
Bang!
He shot the second guard too.
“Good. Move in.” Zuyx said and Teks noticed a pack of excitement in his voice.
Teks drove the car inside and pulled up in front of a building.
They both alighted.
“Hey!” A security man shouted. “Stop!”
Bang!
Teks shot him.
The gunshot attracted the other security men’s attention. Three of them appeared with a gun but got fired by Teks and they died.
Teks ran to the door, pressed some buttons and got the door opened. He ran in, followed by Zuyx until they got to a glass room with a big metal case in the middle.
Zuyx stood and looked at the safe. He felt something erupting inside of him, and the excitement made his eyes glitter.
This was the safe that had the forty-nine. This was the safe that housed him for months, before his miraculous escape.
The time was here.
Wait!
He frowned.
Why did he not feel the security laser lights, and the laid down alarm triggers?
The door to the safe was not even locked.
“Open the door.” Zuyx said.
Teks had only pulled it when it opened.
“s**t!” Teks exclaimed. “The safe is empty.”
“What?” Zuyx exclaimed and for the first time. Teks saw confusion and fear on his face.
“Okay, I need you to go into PE and click on Past Events, and highlight with Bellz-Phone-Safe-break. Then send to Image Synthesizer before you play using Neezer Player.”
After a few seconds, they watched what happened a few minutes before they arrived.
They saw one of the guards, Filer, standing before the safe. He looked at the safe before making a call.
“I am there. Put off the laser lights, and all alarm triggers should go off. We got just five minutes to do this.”
“Are you sure about this?” another security man said from the other end.
“Shut up, Adris! We are taking about two million naira who of phones. Do you want to keep living on six thousand dollars per annum?”
“s**t! I did not put the CCTV off and Rik just came in and went into his room.”
“s**t! Kill him!”
“What?”
“What else can we do? He controls the footages and if he sees this, we are sunk. Kill him now or we all go down the drain.”
“Okay.”
Adris left his position, walked towards the Rik’s office but Rik had seen it already. He was rushing out when he bumped into Adris.
Adris used a metal to hit him on the head. Rik dropped on the floor with a broken skull. He hit him again until he was sure he was dead.
He looked at the body.
“This is a mess!” He said into the mouthpiece. “How the hell do I clean this?”
“Is it bloody? Forget about him… Just get the CCTV footages and destroy it. We just have to clear the evidences?”
“What about the others?”
“If we get the box out of here....|
Bang!Bang!
They heard gunshots.
“What the hell was that?” Filer asked.
“I don’t know. It does not sound like our gun.”
“Check!”
One minute later, Rik said, “I don’t know. There is a guy in a car. He does not look good. He killed James and Vic.”
“What! We must leave here now.” Filer began to unlock the safe. The security systems were disenabled. He broke the safe, and drew out a metal box.
He smiled.
This was the box which contained the most valuable objects to their late boss, Mr. Bell.
He did not know the details about the phones. But he knew enough to know they were more valuable than the ordinary phones.
He heard another gunshot again.
“We have to leave now!” Rik who ran into the safe room said.
Filer picked the box and they ran out.
“You said there were eight guards in all. This explains why I only killed five. Rik killed one and the two escaped.” Teks said.
“We must find them now!”
“How? Can’t we play their moves all through?”
“No. It has limits. We still have more powers to unfold. That is why spilling is very important.
“How do we find them now?” Teks asked.
“I have an idea, Let us get out of here.”
They ran out and got into the car. Immediately they drove off, a chopper made of Ice landed in the compound.
Sherryx, Dinbux and four of their men alighted. Sherryx saw two dead bodies on the ground and raised her eye brow.
“I hope my intuition fails me.” She said. “Let us get to the safe.”
They got to the safe and found it empty.
“Shix! Holy shix!” Dinbux exclaimed. “Who did this? Trisha?”
“Trisha would not need to break a safe. She is the heir.”
“Then who took the phones away? Where is she?”
“Bell never involved her so she knows nothing much about it. She is only involved in the conventional business.”
“So who took them away? We must find them before Zuyx does.”
Zuyx!
Sherryx frowned.
“We should use PE to check.”
They checked and saw how the guards stole the box.
“Shix! It happened not so long ago.” Dinbux said.
Sherry sent the images of the two guards to Anita. “Identify these species of yours now and we need a location.”
One of their men came in.
“We found six bodies. Only one of them was killed with a metal pole.
“We saw it.” Sherryx said. “Who killed the rest?”
“We don’t know but the bullets we found..’ he showed it to her.
“This is 66m bullets. It is of the earth. “ Dinbux observed.
“Zuyx! He was here.”
Anita called back.
“Sherryx, I found them!”
Meanwhile, Zuyx and Teks were also on their way for find Filer and Rik.
