I’m playing the role of the unconscious victim, waiting for the right moment to make my move as the muffled voices of Layla, Ruth, and Albert echo. They enter deep into the indescribable space, their footsteps thumping against the floor. I remain motionless, listening intently to their conversation. "Why don't we kill her now so we can go back to Elijah?" Ruth's voice cuts through the heavy air, filled with impatience and malice. Layla's response is cold and calculated. "We need to wait for her. She wants to see with her own eyes that this mess is really killed." My heart skips a beat at the mention of this mysterious someone. Her? Who's her? There's someone else who'd like me dead? The footsteps draw nearer, the sound becoming louder until I can sense a presence standing close to me
