I made sure that I didn't say a single word to her until I slept last night. I didn't want to, but I couldn't stop myself from noticing her restlessness as she lay beside me. When she finally gave in to sleep, I couldn't sleep. My mind was consumed with thoughts about what to do next. Just what do I do with her now?
There was no use bringing her into this if she could one day decide that she'd rather go to her former friends and support them than stay by my side.
Firstly, I need to find a way to get Jovan here, back from his vacation. Although I hate to cut his honeymoon short since it was also serving as a much-needed break for him and his new wife. He had just left, and the very fact that I needed him here made me feel a pang of guilt.
