Nikolai’s POV
It's been more than 24 hours and she is yet to wake up! Damn! The doctor said she was going to be okay. She should be up by now. I am staying close to her now, watching her sleep and she does not seem like breathing.
At least she has not gone back to being cold. That's a consolation on its own.
“Kolai, I think you need to sleep. You have not slept for hours. The maid will stay with her. I will stay with her. You should get some in your body. You look even weaker than her” My mum said, coming into the room behind me.
“I am fine. How can I sleep when she is lying there almost dead? How can I eat when I don't even feel like tasting anything? What do you think happened? What do you think went into her head Mother? Why would she try to kill herself” I shot back, my mother'
