Chapter 6 The pair sat at a corner table in an upscale coffee shop. Ernie was relieved he’d let Butch order first. The man had chosen a venti espresso which, according to the nutrition chart on the wall, held a whopping 11.4 calories. Ernie had been ready to get his usual white chocolate mocha, whole milk, with extra mocha and whipped cream—620 calories. He would have also ordered a strawberry cheese Danish weighing in at 475. Thankful he’d dodged the embarrassment of showing what a pig he was, Ernie had simply said, “I’ll have what he’s having,” and hoped his stomach didn’t growl too loudly. To Ernie’s surprise, the conversation had gone well. Butch had seemed sincerely interested in Ernie’s job, background, and interests. The trainer had been open and had spoken easily about his own l
