Chapter 7 Wes checked on me periodically throughout the day. He seemed to have a knack of showing up just when my energy and magic started to wane. I didn’t go looking for the reason why I had magical issues again. I didn’t have the energy, and I knew it pointless to try when I wasn’t at full capacity.
