It was in the heat of the moment that Jasper feels he needs to empty his bladder. The first fight of the round has started and the warrior women fight to the death. Both of them are covered in bl**d. Villagers cheer and drink, watching such a spectacle.
“Ugh!” Jasper complains. “I gotta go and pee! Hiroki, save this spot for me until I get back.”
“Okay,” he says, watching the fight. One of them already won and finished the loser's life. Cheers fill the whole hanging village but Hiroki finds this unpleasant.
“Tsk,” Jasper clicks his tongue, disappointed. “I thought she'd win. Well, anyway, off I go.” He byes then goes through the crowd.
Just beside the saloon, there's a bathroom but it's nothing but a long shed with wooden walls separating four holes on the wooden floor. His mind is dizzy as he urinates. Then he half-smiles before someone on the other side of the separation at his speaks.
“I know who you are,” the person says. “Son of Silva.”
“And I know who you are too, no matter how you try to change your voice.”
“Don't mention each other's names—it's for the best.”
“I suppose you want something from me. Everyone wants to see a trick from the God of Trickery.”
“I want you to save her.”
“Save who?”
“Don't play dumb. I know you've been snooping around in this village, taking notes on ‘who cares about who’.”
“Well, it's my job.” He's done urinating but didn't leave just yet. “That girl is strong, you know. She could win this. You know her pretty well, but you don't trust her.”
“Not when one of the champions is unkillable. That woman will certainly win a battle to the death. You must have something you want. Do what I ask, and I shall give it to you.”
Jasper chuckles in a whisper. “Alright, then. Tell me about Jovians and Valkyries.”
“It's dangerous to talk about it. I'll die at the moment I tell you. And now, I've been made a target.”
“By whom?”
“I don't know who but suggest I'll tell you what I think as well as about what you ask after we secure my interest first.”
“Deal.”
“So, what's the plan?”
“Lucky you, I just thought of something exciting,” Jasper giggles, smirking like he has been waiting for this to happen.
Back on the ring far from the village, Icarus is going head-to-head against a demigoddess. He's handling her fine but she is trying too hard to get even with him. Messing eith people has been his nature, so he dodges and blocks her attacks then counter them but don't feign the blows. He's showing her that their skills are very far apart.
She screams, charging but Icarus had enough of this pointless fight. He hits the back of her neck, putting her to sleep.
“Athena!” screams her father.
Icarus carries her in a bridal carry, then jumps into the cottage above. He gives her to her sisters. They check her and shexs breathing fine.
“What have you done to her?!!” one of the sisters screams.
“Relax,” he says, rolling his eyes. “she's gonna be fine. It was not that hard. She fainted more on her exhaustion. It was the only way I could stop her because she looked like she's gonna fight until she couldn't stand anymore.” He narrows his eyes, remembering someone who's like that. “Like him,” he mutters.
He sighs then gets off the cottage and back to the ring. The sisters watch him as he lands.
One of them says, “He's so... cool...” then bites her lip.
“He's a good match for Athena,” says another. “wouldn't you think so, Father?”
“You're right, my daughter, a very good match indeed. So, have all of you decided on who you'll marry?”
“Yes!” they declare.
“Well, then, go to them.”
Except for Athena, the four of them jump off and split into two groups for both of them. Icarus is annoyed as the two young maidens are grabbing his arm, flirting with him. Philip is flustered, trying to be nice to them.
“Having fun, I see,” says Jasper behind them.
“Oh, you found us,” says Philip.
The girls are surprised by Jasper's sudden arrival. They stay closer to their boys to feel safe. Jasper wrinkles his nose in envy.
“So, what's up?” asks Icarus.
“I need you two. It's time to regroup.”
“Alright.” He forcefully pulls his arms from the girls' grip, hurting them a little.
“We gotta go,” says Philip, kindly removing their hands from his arms. “sorry, ladies.”
“But we're gonna get married!” they reason.
“We're too young for that,” he says, dodging their clutch.
They look like they're about to cry. Their father from the cottage above is furious. “We had a deal!” he screams at Jasper.
“Well, the deal's off, chief!” Jasper replies. “Ma boys are more valuable than a thousand hot girls. Gotta take 'em back. Here!” he tosses the insignia to her daughters. “Goodbye!”
They jump off of the ring and that's when the girls start to cry.
Tree to tree, Jasper, Icarus, and Philip are travelling while both of them are wearing their shirts. “Did you guys get under their pants?” Jasper asks.
“Nope,” says Icarus.
“We would never!” Philip denies.
“You wasted your chances,” Jasper facepalms.
“I'm not desperate,” says Icarus. “I'm not new to it.”
“Oh, right... you were noble, right?”
“Yeah.”
“That explains it.”
Philip stays quiet since he's the only one that has never experienced it.
“Philip,” Jasper says to him. “have you—”
“He's a v*rgin,” Icarus cuts. “He wants to stay pure until he gets Gwen.”
Philip violently reacts, “What?!! That's not—”
“Oh,” Jasper laughs. “you better stop thinking that way or you'll die a v*rgin, Philip. Trust me.”
“I'm not thinking that! Never mind, just tell us what you want us to do.”
His smirk striking and tells them that planning something huge. “You boys are gonna like it,” he says.
