- * “She's my wife,” says Hyun. Sayuri frowns at him but he smugs. “You dare speak against me?!!” the man rages. He points his finger to Sayuri and commands, “Bring her to me!” “Yes, my lord,” his guards advance, putting on their stances. “This is my land and whoever steps on it will also be mine!!” “Woah, woah, dudes,” says Jasper, getting in their way. “You guys don't wanna do this.” “As a matter of fact, we do!” mutters one of the guards and pushes him aside. Jasper falls to the ground. He just sighs in disappointment. “You don't have to push me.” He tilts his head looking at Jack, asking him to do something. Hyun is looking at them like a prowling tiger, ready to bite as soon as they touch his woman. Sayuri is calm behind her covers. Then one of them is about to grab Sayuri, a metal hand grabs his arm, stopping him just an inch from touching Sayuri's shoulder. “What do you think you're doing?” the guard growls. “Saving the five of you,” Jack answers before pushing him away to be caught by his comrades. As he walks toward them, he removes his gloves, exposing his Tartarian fists. “You'll regret that!!” The four of them charge at him. One of them charges to punch. Jack doesn't avoid it but uses his knuckles to stop it. The impact blasts along with the sound of crushing bones. “ARGH!!!” cries the demigod in agony. A bone is protruding from the back of his hand as he falls back. “What?!” the other guard asks, confused. Because they're distracted, Jack takes out another with a knee to the gut. The remaining two get wary and prepare to defend. Jack sends a kick to the guard nearest to him. “It's a weak kick,” the guard says in his thoughts as he forwards his arm to block it in time. “I can block it with my Sword Breaking.” The kick lands, breaking his arm and hitting his face, putting him to sleep. The remaining one charges at Jack but gets grabbed in the throat, lifting him from the ground. “You've become such a terrifying killing machine, Jack,” Jasper laughs on the ground. In terror, their boss watches his last guard struggle like a fish out of water until Jack lets him go. The guard falls on the ground, barely alive. “Impossible!” the bloated man cries in disbelief. “They're the best demigods from Silva's army!” “Silva?” Jasper repeats as he stands up, dusting his clothes with his hands. “Wait, Jack!” Jack stops his palm that was about to hit the man in the face. “Did you say, Silva?” asks Jasper. Still trembling, the man is closing his eyes, crossing his arms in front of his face as he thought Jack was going to hit him. He's confused when it didn't land. Opening his eyes and lowering his arms, Jasper is smirking in front of him. “Did I hear it right?” he asks with his eyes faintly growing green. “W... what?” asks the man, shivering. “Did you get these guards from Silva?” “That's...,” He swallows and yells, “That's right! She's gonna kill all of you if she finds out! Kneel and ask for forgiveness, give that woman to me and I shall convince her to spare you!” He laughs, trying to hide his fear. Jasper laughs with him. As a second goes by, his laugh gets louder and the man couldn't go along with him. Instead, he's too disturbed to continue laughing. The whole plain can hear Jasper's laugh. The grasses could almost wither and the herds on the pastures get nervous. The sheep, cows, and chickens sound their calls of panic. His laughing stops when he gasps for air, bending his back, facing up, and inhaling the sky. “Splendid!” he cackles, putting his arms over the man's shoulder. “Let's go to your home and talk over a drink, shall we?” “What?” asks the man, feeling his skin is infested with maggots. But he still holds a baseless pride. “Let me go this instant!” After chuckling, Jasper pats the man's head. “No, don't be like that, my little man. I just wanna talk. So, I'm guessing that's your mansion,” he points at it as they walk there. His comrades follow behind him. “Of course, it is! And its ground shall not be tainted by your filthy soles!” Then the guards at the gate are confused for the moment, looking at them. “Guards! Kill these people!” Looking at how Jasper acts friendly to the bloated man, one of the guards asks, “Is he joking?” “Maybe,” the other one answers. “Wait,” he realizes. “They're strangers!!” Jack from above, lands in front of them and they weren't able to react as he bashes both of their heads against each other. They're knocked out cold. Then he kicks the gate, opening it forcefully that the hinges shatter, making the gate fall on the ground. “My fancy gate!” the man cries. “You can fix it later, don't worry,” says Jasper while they walk over the fallen guards on the ground. The servants working in the garden flee screaming in terror. More guards come to the scene but Jack takes them out with ease. “So, where is your dining hall?” Jasper asks. “I won't tell you!” “Oh, come on! Would you be kind enough to welcome your guests?” “All of you aren't my guests! Let go of me and-” He struggles from Jasper's grip but stops when Jack returns, walking beside them. He swallows, looking at his metal fists, covered in bl**d. So, he stays put around Jasper's arm. “Follow me,” he says. * -
