At the begging of the Novel Star's mom was sick then she later died ... after few years her dad thought he couldn't take care of a young woman so he needed a wife to help her raise her only daughter ... later he remaried to a woman who had 2 children a boy and a girl the step mother was jealous of star's looks beautiful she was beautiful than her daughter .. so every chance she would get , she would discourage star of her looks ...far away from the village there was a kingdom which everybody feared... there was a rumor that the royalties were not humans .. and it was said that the king had 4 wives and 10 children ... it was 7 boys and 3 girlsit was said there were werewolves and there were deep secrets within those walls ... the romurs fades just like dustone day the king sent his messengers to tell the villagers good but bad news that it was time for his sons to choose brides ... whether they liked it or not the king thst night sent his people to take a single young lady in every house ... some young ladies were prepared some were forced and some who their parents loved money ..were sold so that if they are not chosen by any single prince .. they would have to serve the royal family for the rest pf their lives well star was part of the girls who were sold...little did they know that Star would be chosen by the youngest prince who was said to be cruel .. who was feared by everyone and who was chosen to be their future king and she will be the future king nothing comes without consequences it was a risk for her to bear the hair of the kingdom because she was a human ..and would die just like the fifth queen who was weak
