Dawn stepped back as the masked creatures pointed their daggers at her. Their entire faces were covered with dark cloth exposing only their eyes, and unless they agitated she wouldn't know if they were wolves or vampires, but she had to defend herself.  It's like they were calculating who would attack first.  Dawn glanced at their fists. If they've got daggers, then they must be wolves or vampires. She assumed.  She kept on stepping back until one of them rushed at her, aiming to strike her, yet she's got the vampire speed. She grabbed her attacker's arms, and cast it away into a great distance.  And the tension heated up.  They all rushed at her at the same time.  Sounds of metal crushing and gruntlings reverberated on the shore.
