Chapter 5Grace was shocked.
The food! The food before her consisted of some of the most decadent and sweet-smelling confectionaries she’d ever come across before in her entire life. She couldn’t even see the desserts—she just knew they were there by scent alone. She stood in the front foyer of Fit-To-Go Gym for several long minutes inhaling profusely. Instead of the typical aroma of sweat and disinfectant, there was nothing but a rich, hearty blend of vanilla, chocolate, peppermint, and cinnamon spices. She was in heaven.
And the veggie trays in front of her looked so much less appealing.
Grace was about to turn around and walk out, maybe returning to the grocery store for some of their cookies like Mindy had first suggested, but she saw Summer. She and Chelsea were heading into the gym
