Chapter 4“Wait.” Summer ran her hands around the edge of the car seat, and finding nothing, soon ventured to the floor mats that were slightly soaked by melting snow and salt. She pushed past old plastic bottles and numerous power bar wrappers, still finding nothing. She grimaced as she regarded Chelsea in the passenger’s seat. “Have you seen my keychain?” “Your what now?” “My keychain,” Summer said, emphasizing this as the lifeline it was. Summer and Chelsea were parked in front of Fit-To-Go Gym. They’d spent the entire morning and afternoon gabbing and baking, absolutely loving every second of it.
