Going to the other plane with Lia wasn’t exactly the best Friday plan, but I woke up this morning to Daemon packing a bag.
“Get up! We’re going to the beach,” He said with a smile and threw a bathing suit at me. He didn’t have to tell me twice! We had midterms this week, but I definitely could use a break.
We got in the car, and Daemon started driving all of us to the beach.
The sun was high in the sky when we got there, and we found a great spot to set up. As soon as we got all our sunscreen on and blankets set, I walked out to the water, hand in hand with Daemon.
“Thanks for this,” I said to him, and he wrapped his arm tightly around me.
