Chapter 8 - A Small Break

Mathew and James came out of the room and sat silently at the dining table by pulling out the chair which was close to the table. His mother serves the meal to everyone and she too sits silently beside her husband and starts eating. There was a lot of silence spread over the surroundings who would not talk about anything or to each other. Everyone in the house is thinking to themselves, while Mathew's parents are wondering how quickly he can get out of this case and all of the problems he's facing. On the other hand, James is already confused as to what happened next in his past.

At the same time, Mathew has thoughts about his girlfriend, how to meet her? He was very anxious to know when to meet her. But again he remembered the baby in her arms and became dull all at once. Now that she was not his and he also remembered that someone else had owned her now. But he was too determined to find out for her anyway to know the facts. He wants to know why she left him alone by saying he break up that day without any fault towards him.

Meanwhile, Mathew and James both finish eating their meals and move into the room saying good night to the parents while still keeping a dull face like he lost something very valuable in his life. Sophia and Bruce suffer looking at him and thinking about how he was supposed to be in the past and how he was now.

"Yeah dear, I'm thinking the same, I do not understand how to make him a normal person again" Sophia suffers a lot in her heart and that was very clearly visible on her face.

"The only cure for him is Clara... we need to find her by any chance, then he will become normal again" Bruce expresses a little anger towards the hardships happening in Mathew's life continuously after the breakup.

"Yeah, but how to find and catch her?" Sophia expresses her doubt in front of her husband by staring into his eyes.

"I'm confused too in this matter... Let him make his trails in finding her and I'm going to do my best to find her to make them one," Bruce says, looking at her a little tighter.

"But how? We think she was already married to some other person right?" Sophia again came out with the doubt which was making her frustrated.

"Yes of course, but we don't know exactly what the position is. Let us find the truth which was hidden between the two" Bruce yelled out at her slightly.

They talk to each other for a while, tidy up the dishes on the table with the help of Bruce, the table is cleaned neatly by using a cloth, move to their bedroom, lock the door and fall asleep.

James, on the other hand, is anxiously waiting for Mathew to come out of the bathroom and tell him the story of where it was stopped.

After a while, he comes out slowly and sits on the sofa there which was placed in a corner of his room and is opposite his bed. James also goes to his side, sits down beside him, and asks him to continue the story of what happened next.

"Why are you in such a hurry to hear my story?" Mathew slides back on the sofa by stretching his legs very quietly and relaxes for a while with the hands-on back of the head.

"Come on bro, anyone in this world would feel the same way if you stop the narration in the middle of it" James now turned his face aside with a slight smirk.

"Okay, okay, calm down, I'll tell you in detail so don't worry,” Mathew noticed the annoyance on his face very well and started narrating his story again.

"That day I tried so hard to talk to her but she did not give me a chance and even the people around her were bothering me the whole day taking me into irritation. Whenever I went to her to talk, someone arrived there and disturbed me a lot. Every task in the wedding ceremony was done by her own hands without making others involved in it while making the bride so beautiful and always to be behind her during the wedding ceremony. She had done all the work by keeping everything on her head and taking the work from others forcefully too sometimes.

I could not understand at that moment why she was working so hard in everything and everywhere. I understood that her character was that, if she believed in anyone, she would be willing to give her life also for the one who trusts her most.

"Then why did she leave you, bro?" James asks anxiously.

"Should I say or not? Mathew looks at him a little angrily.

"Sorry sorry, I will not disturb you again, you continue" he grabbed his ears with both hands and apologized.

"While staring at her continuously since morning, the wedding ceremony was completed by now. In the meanwhile, the first night was about to start as the time was already 06:30 pm. Since she was not married yet, everyone kept her away for a while so that she would not know the details about it. I went to her and greeted her that it was the correct time for me to connect with her as she was free now, but there was no response from her at all. She did not even look at my face itself. I tried to talk to her for a long time but she was trying to run away from me by showing me some work saying that she only has to complete it. When she behaved like that I was very upset and left the place saying to my mom that I will come back soon. I was a little bit upset and wanted to set my mood"
