THE excitement that embody Malakai when she stepped foot in the vicinity of the apartment building evaporates when she take in the silence of the unit. She dropped the duffel bag on the floor. She placed the messenger bag on top of the chaise. The seminar she attended in the city with a colleague ended yesterday afternoon. Early this morning, she check out of the hotel.
