THE laundry basket dropped from her hands when she saw the person standing in the middle of the small living area of the apartment.
The woman turned to her but glanced at her surrounding afterwards.
“What are you doing here?” Amari asked while gathering the scattered clothing on the floor. She put them back again in the hamper.
The woman did not speak a word. She felt her approach and touch the garments on top of the laundry basket. She raised the underwear and examine them. In her face paints wonder and curiosity at the same time upon inspection of the silky garment.
She grabs and put them back on the basket.
“What are you doing here, Sienna?”
She carried the basket and placed it inside the bedroom. She found her former comrade standing from where she left her.
