IÑIGO'S POV

It had been two days since Phoenix’s last attack and he appeared fairly nicely after the medicine intake. We were all anxious about him but he seemed to recuperate quite agreeably. He has also been blabbering a lot more energetically and I was very enthusiastic to witness his advancement.
Doctor Menzan did arrive to check on him once and asserted that Phoenix needed to eat and rest well. I was particularly happy knowing that he was relatively well in his condition, but I couldn’t forget what his state was back then.
That night had haunted me. I presumed I would lose my mate that day with the amount of despair I had endured. I don’t know how his body tolerated all that. I didn’t know if it was a blessing or a curse that he didn’t understand what had happened to him.
