IÑIGO’S POV ----- I was standing by the window since I couldn’t sleep a wink through the night. Though I was trying to assure myself that guards were downstairs and things were going to be fine, I was distressed after what I witnessed in the night by the lake and the borders. Since I had missed that intruder once, the unsettling feeling of missing that intruder again was eating me alive. I was anxious that I might fall asleep and something might happen to Phoenix. I couldn’t jeopardise my mate’s life when he was not on the stage to understand anything. I turned to look at my mate and, as on cue, he stirred and opened his eyes.
