When Alpha Ares entered the house and glanced at his cousin Kieran and his mate Phoenix, a part of him surely wanted a mate but he knew he was in no position to demand that. He was having a good time but one statement from him changed the entire atmosphere. He had no idea his statement would purge so much of his cousin.
“I should…” Alpha Ares started to say but Phoenix shook his head.
“Let him be out.” Phoenix answered maturely and Alpha Ares was shocked to see that hint of maturity in Phoenix.
Phoenix longingly looked at the door from where his mate had just left. He didn’t know how to comfort him regarding this topic. He was always worried that he’d say something wrong and things will go wrong.
