We were eating breakfast in the kitchen island since it was noon and everyone else has already left for their routine activities, Derek made pancakes and waffles

I squeezed the syrup all over the pancakes and cut them and was busy eating when Derek started laughing

"What now?"

"You have syrup on your face"

"Where?"

"Just under your bottom lip" so licked it!

"Still there" I took the napkin and wiped my chin

"Come here let me help you" he got up and wiped just under my lip with his thump, and it  stayed a second too long, I was just going to ask him what the hell when I heard a growl on the door

"MINE!"

I got up fast and went to Adam and put my hand on his cheek "baby relax he was just wiping syrup on my face I swear, please come down"

"But he touched you, you didn't see the way he was looking at you"

"Baby please, we talked about this, and he will  never do something like that, his my best friend and beta so relax you need to trust him because I'm going work with him closely"

"Fine" He huffed glaring at Derek who was smirking

"Adam this Derek my beta, and Derek  this is Adam my mate, whom I love so much" I said and pecked his lips, I saw that smile I missed so much like I never saw it for weeks but it was only couple of hours which reminds isn't he suppose to only come next week

"Baby aren't you supposed to be helping your pack with relocation?"

"Both my father are doing it and I couldn't sleep without you beside me" he said, hugging my waist and putting his face in the crook of my neck!

"Awww, that's sweet I missed you too" I said, enjoying his warmth

"Eew, I'm still here okay, I don't want to see all that" said Derek

"Are you jealous? Don't worry you going find your mate soon" I told him!

"Whatever" he said, leaving the kitchen

"Now baby are you tired?  do you want to rest, or you want a tour of our the pack?"

"Maybe we could rest" he said then winked!

I blushed, knowing exactly what he meant, we were about to leave when my mother burst into the kitchen

"David we need to talk....ow alpha Adam I didn't know you would be here?"

"Sorry, I came uninvited, but I missed my mate" he said, pulling me to him

"Awww, I was about to scold you but you two look cute together, but I'm still mad at you David your dad told me what happened and that's not how alphas behave both of you were out of line and I won't let you ruin our pack do you hear me?" She scolded!

"Yes mam" we said at the same time.
