GABRIELLE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I remained where I stood, there was no way I would ever go to him, not if I have a choice. My unwillingness seemed to further infuriate him. He took another intimidating step towards us, his frosty metallic grey eyes never moving an inch away from mine. It happened so fast, Derek pulled out the pistol I didn't know he had been holding, focusing straight at Lucian's forehead. "And I say you should back off, tell them all to leave or I will shoot! " He shifted his gaze towards the five of Lucian Castiel's men that had their weapons drawn out towards us. The tension in the air was thick, a butter knife would easily tear through it, my heart was jamming hard against my ribcage. It was six against one. I was scared for Derek as well as myself. It could easily end up badly for us. "Tell them to leave! Or I'll really blow out your brains! " Derek spoke again, a look of determination in his eyes. For the first time since he stepped inside, Lucian's gaze left mine to focus on Derek, a complete disinterested look in his eyes. "Put down your toy, do you have any idea who you are messing with, be obedient or I'm going to f**k you over real bad " There was a steely edge to his tone even though he bore a look of amusement, as though he was talking to a child, rather than a full grown man. Derek's grip on the gun grew firmer. "Your last chance, Castiel!" The determination in his eyes grew stronger, his tone laced with annoyance, which was probably due to Lucian's blatant disregard of him. My chest squeezed tight when a loud shot rang out, a sharp scream tore from my mouth. For some seconds that went passed, I thought Derek had been the one who shot Lucian, that was until I heard his own cry of pain, then I realized Derek was the one who had been shot. A second shot rang out, causing another red flower to bloom at his other shoulder. I screamed again in horror, earnestly scared for his life. The gun in his hands carelessly slipped from his hand as he doubled over to the ground, groaning in agony. "Derek!!" I started to rush towards him, only to be suddenly jerked forward, his harsh tugged as he yanked me to his chest threatened to dislocate my shoulders. "You don't want to go to him, trust me " His hot breath blasted against my eyes as I fought him. My gaze returned to Derek to see a pool beginning to form around him. At this rate, he was going to bleed to his death. A sob caught in my throat as I fought harder against the monster who held me captive. "Let me go, you sick bastard! " I screamed. A man walked towards Derek, the same who had shot him, for some reason he seemed familiar. I suddenly realized he had been one of Lucian's people who had come to our house the other night. "What should we do about him? " He was toying with Derek as though he was a piece of meat, rather than a living human. Panic, fear as well as a spike of anger fueled up in my chest at the question he directed to Lucian. There was a dark gleam in his eyes as he waited to serve his master's bid. "He sought for death, it will be a pity if we don't give it to him, is it not? " Was Lucian's response, he had a sick grin plastered on his face, the pressure in my arms traveled to the back of my neck. "And you'll come with me!" He snarled. "Don't you dare touch her!" Derek managed in a breathless pant before a hard punch was delivered to his face, which sent blood gushing out of his nose. The man didn't stop with just one, he had a bestial gleam in his eyes, he was just like his master who was currently holding me captive against him. Punch... Punch... Punch... I was kicking and screaming for him to stop, Lucian didn't take me away either, it was as though he wanted me to witness the brutality and torment Derek was passing through. "Stop it! " I screamed. The sounds of bones cracking made my stomach coiled up with nausea, I could feel the cold sweat on my face. The blows kept coming until his face was a bloodied mess, I could tell he was still conscious only by the low sounds, like that of a wounded animal that escaped his throat whenever a blow landed. The tears blurred my vision, I wanted to kill the bastard who was inflicting the pain, I wanted to kill Lucian who gave the orders and was forcing me to watch, but I could do nothing other than look helplessly. "Please stop it! I beg you! " I was screaming, sobbing, and begging now, It didn't matter anymore. I was appealing to whatever humanity Lucian might have left to stop all these. "Enough!!" He roared and I flinched, and with that, he lifted me easily like a ragdoll, throwing me over to one of his shoulders, and walked out of the bathroom in long heavy strides, with me kicking and pounding heavily against his lower back. It didn't seem to affect him, but once he was tired of my struggles, his palm descended on my bottom. HARD!.
