"Mate is in trouble." Dex whines
"Ok, boys, get in the house!" I say, picking up the other three and running them into the house. "Mom, watch the boys!" I yell, then slam the door behind me.
I take off running thru the woods, following her scent as Dex continues to whimper that she is in trouble.
"Alpha. I just got a report from patrol at the borders. Two rogues attacked, and one got through the line. Get Alyssa and the boys inside." Steven mindlinks me. s**t.
"One of the boys wandered into the woods. Alyssa is looking for him." I mindlink Steven.
