Steven POV

We drove off as fast as we could go, I saw her look back as she heard her mate call for her, her hands went to her face. When he screamed her name, I didn't know how to comfort her, it was hard, just sitting there driving as she cried in her hands, "if I could take the pain I away I would Skyler" but that doesn't sound like a mate that would reject you, he was screaming out your name to come back," she took her hands from her face, blood tears were on her hands, he gave her napkins to clean her face in hands, Skyler are you listening to me," she looked over at him nodding, "if you want to go back we will turn back now, "I'm sure he will be happy to see you" she shook her head no ad she continued to look out the window, she was trying hard to be strong. But she felt off like someone was watching, she saw a shadow like figure, but wasn't sure what it was. She turned back into the room in shut the door,

She got on the phone. The other end was ringing, someone picked up it was Kris, "hello who's this,"

Hunter just a friend of a friend letting you know your mate is at hotel six in the back," we are all watching her, so if she runs, we will be able to call in tell you,

Kris : how did you get this number,

Hunter: from your new hunter friend her name is Denna by the way," none of us like telling others our names," but since we are friends"I might as well tel you hers in mind, my name is Jenna, all hunters are females,"

Kris had no idea why she was telling him this information, but he was listening,

Kris,: how far is hotel six from super eight?"

Jenna: you are a hour away,"

He looked at his phone when the call ended, why was the hunters calling him Alpha? That was so strange to him, he turned around looking at everyone, they were already awake when they heard the phone ring. Seth spoke up first. "what's going on," who was that?" Kris spoke up, it was a hunter name Jenna, she got my number from the other hunter Deena, (hey that rhyme) she was telling me that Skyler is at hotel six a hour away from here. We need to get going now before they run," they all got up and headed out side, Buzz and Spice ran out the door is so did the others. They got into there SUVs and sped out of there,

Skyler POV she really felt like something was strange like someone was watching her, she woke Steven up. We need to leave I have a weird feeling " steven spoke, I thought I was the only one, but yeah I feel like we are being watched. Let's get out of here. They walked out of the room got back into the car in sped off, just when Jenna turned the corner to see what was going on, s**t she moaned out, she got her phone clicked on the number she wanted and waited for the phone to ring,

Kris,: yeah, what's up"what's going on,"

Jenna:, I don't know what just happened" but the ran out of there room, in sped off,"

Kris: growled into the phone, "Do you have others watching call then in tell them to keep a look out,

Skyler POV

She turned to Steven she knew what she had to do. You need to turn around, I have to face him sooner or later, I can't keep running from him, Steven understood, it was a tough decision to make. But she has to do this, he did a u turn heading back to hotel six, twenty minutes later, they were back at the hotel, he parked the car and she got out, then started to talk,

"I don't know who you are," or why you been watching us, but come out now" or I'll hunt you down in kill you," a few minutes later Jenna came out of the shadows, Skyler stood there. She knew she was a hunter, "tell me why have you have been watching me,?" Who do you work for?" Jenna looked at Skyler, then started to talk, I work for no one at the moment,"but I've been watching you for the Alpha Kris,* he's been. Searching for you," "but you have been running from him," "why,"

"I don't want him to see me like this, red eyes pale skin the smell of death, that's why I've been running from him, he will reject me when he sees me, jenna looked at her confused, if he is going to reject you," why would he be trying to find you,?" She is two hours ahead of us, we need to catch up with her," Kris nodded in mindlinked his dad, Buzz started to speed up, Denna looked at jenna then at Kris, we will ask him later.
