Fang's POV Dad was angry at me, but I knew I had made the right decision by letting Paul go.  Having the UberPack enforcers around had helped a bit, not that dad had believed it, or agreed, but it was a good excuse for his actions.  Despite his posturing and yelling, I was sure that he was finally considering the possibility that he could get in trouble.  But as angry as he had gotten at having Paul gone, he had to recognize he had no real claim to him being there.  Paul had been living within the Pack's territory for years without being part of the Pack, if what he had said was true, that meant that his excuse for holding him wasn't a strong one.  And since the UberPack recognized Melissa's right to leave, the betrayal excuse wasn't going to work either.
