I was excited, and a little nervous, nothing like Rachel that was almost shaking. I couldn't understand the effect the alphas in the pack had over her. She insisted it was unnatural to have so many powerful shifters in the same pack, but I understood the need to have strong warriors available in case there was the need to face a strong pack. They were the law, and even if they had failed me and my pack, I had to think they could be salvation for others.
The ceremony was very different from my first experience, it was mostly an invitation by Night to run as a pack and hunt together. It was a chance for us to strengthen our ties and be together. It was a very freeing experience. I had run with most of them at different times, but never with so many at the same time. T
