Felix came back to the present and told Jones off. Jones would not be put off. He tried to pry into Felix private life but did not succeed. He wanted to know what relationship apart from the obvious that Felix had with the girl he had seen him with the other day.
'When did you see me with this girl?' Felix enquired.
'It was the evening of Wednesday last week. It would seem that both of you had gone strolling', he replied.
'So what made you think that she is anything other than my close friend?'
