"You dare say that to her after what you made her go through!" Jace growled, then tightened his grip on my hair as I screamed out in pain.
The side of my cheek was hurting badly from the brutal hit I had received, and blood was rolling down from my nose.
"Jace baby, it's me," I cried out, blinking back the tears that blurred my vision.
I let out a broken gasp when he grabbed my chin hard, hurting me even more.
"I said I would let you live for your parents' sake, and heck, I even promised myself not to be violent in front of Lillian. So why the f**k did you have to tell her that?
