Why couldn't I bring myself to go back to where I had come from? Was it because I felt something for Talic? I admit I missed how I felt to be loved and wanted, but was that the only reason stopping me?
"Edith, what's wrong?" he asked, getting my attention.
I slowly walked to where he was and sat next to him on the bed.
"I want to go back. I know I have said this more than once, but I really do miss home," I answered honestly.
