The week waiting to meet Allison felt seemingly endless, it was as though the entire universe and even the moon goddess was against our meeting. The week went by agonizingly slowly and I hated it.
It’s only the third day and my patience was starting to wear thin again. I had no idea how to feel or act in front of Allison or my children who I’ll be meeting for the first time in years.
I’ve missed vital moments of their life and right now, right now I have no idea what to think. What do I say when I finally meet them, how do I explain missing six years of their lives?
