There were all prepared.
Waited for the signal, but it never came. Even the sounds were muffled and they were unable to hear the conversation from outside. On the roof of the building was Mike, Cole and Lotus, while the grounds was taken by Mr. Hawk and the rest of them. Even William had gathered with Rami, observing from the car the outside of Hanzo's appartement. It had been about an hour since James had walked in, but his earbud signal had silenced the instance he stepped foot in the appartement. Therefore, they were unable to hear the code word for when they could barge in, and were forced to call it by ear. However, they did not want to get in there too early since the information would be missed, therefore it was going to be a judgement call.
Mike and Cole had their gear attached around their waist, a rope connected to the edge of the roof as they peered down the building. They were dressed entirely in black with black masks covering their faces. They were also wearing large black boots, along with gloves that tightened their grip around their weapons. Unlike Cole, Mike had ripped one sleeve from his long sleeve, and Cole did not favour that style.
Mike leaned on the edge of the building, lifting his mask slightly in order to smoke his cigarette. Cole stood on the edge beside him, and they both looked downwards to Mr. Hawk's cars parked in front of the building.
Lotus marched towards them, "He's gone quiet for an hour now," he said within his microphone attached to his ear.
"It's still too soon," Mr. Hawk replied, fixing his earbud. They were unable to hear anything, which did stress them.
Mike pulled another cigarette from his pocket, and his palm brushed past his gun. He was fully equipped, with a large AK strapped to his back, and a pistol strapped to his ankle, as well as on his waist. They were unsure what they were running into, therefore they needed to be prepared.
"I think we should head in," Mike said calmly.
Eric, who was in the passenger seat of Mr. Hawk's vehicle, said, "We should wait. I'm trying to see if I can hack into the system to unable the signal disrupter." He had a laptop on his lap, and was rapidly typing as they all stated at the appartement building.
Sunzo, who was in a different vehicle and guarding the back, inserted his own opinion, "He must be in some kind of trouble. We would have gotten some type of signal by now—"
"Maybe it's taking more time than we estimated," Mr. Hawk ascertained, "let's wait."
"Dad, there's certainly something going on in there. Hanzo might've figured out this is a trap."
"This plan was flawless, he couldn't have seen it coming," Mr. Hawk rejected.
Mike shook his head stressfully, pulling his mask down.
Little did they know what was occurring inside.
As James returned to consciousness, it took a few seconds in order to recollect what was happening, and where he was. However, he instantly noticed one thing; he could not move. As his eyes blinked for clarity, it did not take long until horror distorted his features. He was bounded to a chair, ropes wrapped around his ankles and the leg of the chair, his waist tied down as well as his wrists behind his back. He was not focused on that however, he was focused on the sight that had been awaiting him.
In front of his was a wide plastic coverage on the flood, and the items beside it caused his blood to run cold. A long electric saw with red and brown stains laid beside the coverage, as well as cleaning supplies, and a large black bag. His breath fell short in his throat, and he felt his palms become moist as fear started twirling within his stomach along with nausea.
He heard footsteps, and soon enough, Hanzo entered the room. He was wearing a large white costume with a transparent mask over its eyes. He was also wearing white gloves and waved excitingly towards James when he realized he had awoke. He leaned forward, pressing his fingers on James' neck to feel his pulse. It was rapid, and he grimaced, "Your pulse is too fast, the blood will squirt everywhere if it's like this."
"Hanzo, what the f**k are you doing?" James screamed.
Hanzo chuckled with a frown, turning towards his belongings before facing James again, "Isn't obvious? It'll be a hassle to simply kill you and have my entire place fall dirty."
"Hanzo, we're friends," James cried desperately, "I didn't betray you, you betrayed us—"
"I betrayed August," Hanzo hissed, his sharp eyes glaring at James, but James had noticed a glint of hurt passed by his eyes for a quick second. His lips clenched for a few seconds before he started, "The only reason I even started talking to her at William's birthday party six years ago, was because Dante told me to. Dante had asked me to make sure August was going to be at the ball dance, so I did. She didn't even find it remotely weird when he passed her on to me on the dance floor; that was planned."
James eyes widened as he remembered.
He raised his head, and his pattern became much quicker, twirling me a few times and leaning me in his arm. He turned rapidly, and I was having a hard time keeping up, since dancing was not one of my specialties. I was getting out of breath, and he twirled me, but as our arms extended, he let me go. Then, he winked, and I fell into the arms of someone else. I was shocked, but when I turned around, he was not there anymore. Who was that? "Hey August," the man that was holding me said. I raised my head, and realized it was the red and gold mask, and Hanzo pulled his mask from his face, smiling at me. I smiled as well, but I was still uneasy from what happened earlier. "You okay?" he worried. (Chapter 29 of Raped by my Step-Brother).
Hanzo smirked as he noticed the distressed gaze in James' eyes. "Even so, after that I had to follow her, spy on her and tell Dante where she was at all time. Why did you think he knew to pick her up from the restaurant with Cole that one time?"
However, a voice made him halt immediately, and detach himself from the grasp. "Get your f*****g hand off of her." I turned around towards it, and realized Dante was standing there with his hands in his pockets. A few customers had turned their heads in our direction, and it was apparent that Dante did not like having attracted attention from customers in a public setting. However, the glare he sent Cole was menacing, and I saw Cole gulp. With his eyes remaining on Cole, he said, "You're just gonna stand there or what?" That was dedicated to me. (Chapter 39 of Raped by my Step-Brother).
"I even knew what happened that night at Dante's Slave Trade; she was with Dante. I was there, and I let her be groped by those men."
James' teeth clenched tightly.
However, I was certain I had seen a familiar red and gold mask within the crowd. I wanted to approach him to see if it was actually Hanzo, but I was too afraid. Additionally, Dante had his eye on me. (Chapter 37 of Raped by my Step-Brother).
Hanzo snickered, "So the only person I betrayed was August. But you," he shook his head dreadfully, "I never betrayed you."
It took a moment for the information to be processed; Hanzo had been working for Dante all along. However, he kept the shock from revealing itself on his face. "This right here," James motioned towards himself with his head, "This is worse than betrayal. You're going to kill me?"
Hanzo nodded gracefully, "Yes."
"Because I f*****g tried to get information out of you without you knowing?"
"I'm sick of arguing with you." Hanzo then reached for his permanent marker, and began drawing lines across James' bicep. He then reached for his pants, drawing a line right below the knee, and evidently the last one went around James' neck. James knew what that symbolized, he also knew that there was no way he would make it out alive. He had to think quickly, but he had been unaware that his earbud had failed to get any signal across from his entry in the apartment. Now that he knew, he needed to think quickly on a solution as to how he could get a signal across to the guys outside. Being secured to a chair was not going to make it easy.
When Hanzo finished, he stood upright. James needed to buy himself some time. He pushed himself backwards, and the chair fell as his head slammed against the floor. It was not a good idea, but Hanzo did have to react to it, March towards him and pick himself up. "I know you're trying to free yourself," Hanzo smiled sadly, "but unfortunately there's no way they're coming undone."
"Hanzo, think this through."
"I have thought it through, it took me an hour. If you were a random victim, you would never have woken up since you'd be dead. But since it's you, I am quite sad." His bottom lip was pulled out for a few seconds, before he straightened his spine and turned towards his electric saw. "Then again, I could never forgive you—"
"You've gone insane, and even if they kill me, they will find you. They'll get to you eventually."
Hanzo shrugged, "At least there was be one less." Then, he pulled the string, and the saw began roaring. James clenched his eyes shut, not wanting to watch his doomsday. Hanzo sighed, "Goodbye James."
As he approached his victim, he was seconds from pressing against the line on his bicep when suddenly, someone bursted through the window and landed on his floor. James and Hanzo both looked upwards, and met the devilish fierce grin that Mike had along his lips. His amethyst eyes immediately examined the room, and when he realized there was only person he needed to take care of, he reached for his AK over his shoulder and aimed it to Hanzo.
"Put the f*****g saw down, and get the f**k back."
