Jeff sat in the living room watching it on TV. It was a program organized by the Grants. A socio-political event and they were all there. Richard (Mrs Grant) and Maria (Mr Grant) were trying to show a perfect and normal family. Then he saw Melly for the first time in months.
She wore a simple dress which gave room for her protruding tommy. He always dreamt of her carrying his child, having him in her but that was all a dream. Steve was standing right by her side, beaming with smiles. Jeff nearly fainted when at a point, Richard pointed at Steve and said, " he is smugly agitated, because he now knows what it feels to have an expectant woman . but he is a very caring almost-father."
