“You’re insane!” growled Olivia, her eyes welling with tears as she faced her husband. “Evan, do something. I’m not leaving here without my daughter.”
Evan heaved a deep sigh. As if asking for help, he glanced at his father before turning around to face his brother. He opened his mouth, but Cassie beat him to speak before he could encourage his brother to let her go.
