“What did you do to me?” I asked loudly, looking up at the dark sky, and sighed.
The night was starless and moonless. The breeze was cooler than most summer days. I reckoned it was going to rain anytime soon. Nonetheless, it didn’t stop me from being out here with the owls hooting and cicadas singing to accompany me.
