Total darkness… It was that at first. I had no idea what happened next. But then when I was able to take in another breath, I was gasping loudly. I panicked when I found out my body was floating mid-air. But I couldn’t move.
I moved my sight around me. I was in a familiar place. I’d always been here in Grozdan’s cabin since I joined the pack. Every nook and crook of the ground floor was familiar to me. The small hole to the right of the ceiling, which was actually the wood floor of the second story of the cabin, was present.
But why am I here? I’m supposed to be dead just like the rest of the pack, aren’t I? Now how come I’m here? Was it a nightmare after all?
