“If she is going then I am too.” Jack said and Ava got to her feet. “So am I.” She said and I turned to look at her. Before I could object, Jason stood closer. “Me too.” He said and I shook my head. “All of us can’t leave the manor unprotected.” I spoke but Ava straightened her back before she spoke again. “I will cast extra spells to protect it.” She spoke until my eyes traveled to Derick and she seemed to understand. “We do not have a dungeon, but I am sure we can keep him secured until our return.” She spoke confidently and Derick growled angrily. “And what about Steven?” I asked and Derick grumbled hatefully under his breath at the mention at the young wolf’s name.
