I’m not sure what changed in these few minutes, but the realization and acceptance that I made this girl my blood bonded granddaughter, had a sort of fear creep into my heart of losing her. Seth was still looking at the girl. No doubt not knowing what to say. “it’s alright. I have accepted my fate.” She said and it saddened me more.
