“Kellie, Kellie… KELLIE!” Samantha’s voice grates and wheezes like an asthmatic cat.
Kellie however was mid-way through a daydream, looking blankly out of the nearest window at the grey sky as scrap paper blew by her window in the strong breeze. Although Samantha has only been Kellie’s boss for a few weeks, her ears are attuned to Samantha’s gravelly tone of voice and she knows that something has excited her.
Quickly rising from her desk at the Channel 14 News office Kellie yells back, “Yes Samantha, I’m here, what’s up?”
Kellie is not surprised that the reply does not
