Andre wouldn’t tell her where he sent all of the recordings and notes, but less than a week later Internal Oasis quietly went out of business. The industry newsfeeds went silent after a few startled reports.
She’d already hacked into a forum for everyone who’d lost their jobs by the time the founder and CEO, a voiceover actress named Teresa Jeanette, ended up in prison. Nothing there or in the news mentioned the remarkable brain mapping technology.
Dana wondered if that was already in the hands of the government. Or worse.
Former employee gossip ran toward tax evasion as the cause of the whole thing. No one doubted whatever happened had been hushed up, and fast. Probably at great expense
