Chapter 6 Dana walked into a quiet and somber office the next morning, far more so than on an ordinary work day. No one was meeting anyone else’s eyes, and several people looked like they’d been crying. When she walked toward Mr. Redmond’s closed door, the hair on the back of her neck stood up. Every instinct she had was shouting at her to get out of there. Before she could turn around, Mrs. Austin, the Director of Human Resources, walked out of Redmond’s office. “Oh, there you are, Ms. Sanderson.
