Fortunately the car still worked despite the jolts suffered in the steep descent to the valley. While Ivo was leading Lian he observed the peaks of the mountains without making any comments. After a while the boy broke the silence.
“Are they still there?”
“Yes. The glow is shifting as we move, but there is a crag that will prevent them from continuing. However there may be others placed in other peaks.”
"I don´t understand who could be interested in killing us? Because if we had crashed through the trunk on the route we would not have done well.”
