Chapter 9
Still deeply asleep, Ivo heard some ring bells he believed were part of the plot of his dreamlike activity, generally profuse. In fact it was always the same dream, in which he was lost in relatively familiar places but in which he could not find a way back home. He turned on the bed and tried to get asleep again. A sixth sense alerted him that there was movement in the hotel room and sliding his hand on the side where Lian usually slept noticed that it was empty. With the dim light coming from the hallway under the door he saw a shadow that was going to the bathroom in the dark.
