FOUR DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS, Ella already felt excited. She had one week left of her vacation, so she took time off until January 6th. Ella didn’t have any plans but needed time to unwind and think about where her life was going.
Her relationship with Mark was getting better and better every day.
Mark invited her to his office Christmas party and introduced her as his girlfriend. He even came to her company’s party and made friends with everybody. People liked Mark and enjoyed talking to him. He was funny and easy-going if he wanted.
