Chapter 2

Lucina POV

I woke up with a start, drenched in sweat and gasping for breath with tears on my eyes.

The images from my nightmare were still fresh in my mind - the blood, the screams, the chaos. But it was all just a dream, right? I tried to convince myself that it was just a bad dream, but the sense of dread lingered. It had been ten years since my parents had been killed, and I still had nightmares about that fateful day. No matter how hard I tried.

I sat on the bed and I let out a loud hiss.

“Why can’t my parents just rest in peace and stop disturbing me with unending nightmares?” I complained bitterly.

Every time I go do bed, I am always woken up by this same nightmare.

It has been my everyday routine since the past ten years and it’s already frustrating and unbearable.

It’s being ten years but every time I wake up from that nightmare, I am always so scared.

“When does this end??!!”

“I am going to have my revenge on those bastards that killed my beloved parents but this unending nightmare wouldn’t make it faster instead it’s going to make me run mad.”

With a frustrated sigh, I threw off the covers and got out off bed.

I went to the bathroom and turned on the light, wincing at the sudden brightness. I splashed cold water on my face, hoping it would help me feel more awake and alert. As I looked up at my reflection in the mirror, I saw the dark circles under my eyes and the worried expression on my face.

“Lack of sleep.” I said to myself.

The longest I have slept since the past five years is 4 hours and it is really telling on me.

Even though I wouldn’t feel sleepy or anything through out the day but the lack of sleeping would be telling on my health.

I shrugged it off. I have a busy day ahead and I would want anything to spoil it.

I went back to my room to take a towel to wipe my face when my phone vibrated.

I picked it up to check what it was and I found out that it was a text message.

I checked who it was from and saw that it was from my Boss.

“You need to be in my place within the next 20 minutes, I have a job for you.”

“You wouldn’t want to be late,” I read aloud as scoffed.

He still hasn’t changed. Still as rude as always.

How in the World does he expect to be loved with this disgusting and rude behaviour of his. I cussed.

I checked the time and saw that I just have eighteen minutes left.

I quickly took off my clothes and went straight to the bathroom and take my bath.

I wouldn’t want to piss me off by delaying because pissing him off and delaying also delays my pay.

“What a Dickhead.” I cussed again under my breathe.

Within minutes, I was done taking my bath and I went straight to my room to get ready.

I quickly dried my hair and put on a simple outfit.

Took my phone from the bed and dash off my room.

I didn’t bother checking myself in the mirror to see if I look presentable because I didn’t even have the time to as my annoying unloved boss is already waiting for me.

Few Minutes Later

I arrived at my boss’s house sweating profusely, I checked the time and saw that I have 2 minutes left and I breathe in relief.

I went in without knocking and stopped on the spot with what I saw.

“Not again, Boss.” I gave him a disgusting look.

He boss was banging his personal driver

“You can come join us.” He smirked.

“Having a threesome is definitely on my bucket list but having it with some one like you isn’t on it .” I shunned him.

He immediately stood up and instructed his driver to leave.

“At least you should have both allowed your selves to c*m before letting go of each other.” I mocked him.

He ignored me as he went to get his shorts from the couch and put it on.

“The reason I called you is to help me carry out a quest. It isn’t really a quest as it’s just about protecting someone and making sure He isn’t hurt” He said.

“He has a personal guard but he needs an extra eyes on him.”

“Why hire an extra guard when he already has one?” I threw a question at him.

“It isn’t your business, Luci and you aren’t the one wasting money so why not focus on your business?”

“Pardon me, dear boss.” I mocked.

“What is the pay and where is the house located?” I asked him and he gave me a neatly folded paper alongside with a card.

“The house address is written in the paper and the card is your access to the house. We are going to talk about your pay once you get back.” He said to me.

“No problem, Boss. As long as you don’t use my p*****t to bring in strippers and hoes because I am going to kill both you and the stripper.” I threatened him and I didn’t wait for his reply as I left his house.

I opened the paper to see where the house is located and see it isn’t far from my Boss’s house.

I opened my car, went in and zoomed off.

********Minutes later.**********

I got to the address that was written on the paper.

I got out off my car and went straight to the door.

I saw that it requires a passcode or a card and I immediately brought out the card that I was given and slid it on the machine and I was given access to the Building.

I opened the door and was I stopped on the spot. .

Now I see why My Boss was able to get this Offer.

“They are both hoes and I’m so sure they both encounter each other in one of their banging spree.”

“Can you at least take your nonsense to your room?” I broke their disgusting intimacy.

“I guess you must be my guard.”

“I didn’t expect you to look this beautiful, you can come join the fun though.” He smirked

“That’s child abuse, Kiddo.” I replied.
