BUTTERFLY

Walking through the halls of my school the only thing that goes in my mind was that how should I survive another day of school without gaining too much attention. Not that I was bullied or anything but I just didn't like too much attention. I went to my lockers to keep my books in there when I saw that there was a note on my locker 'hey' the note said . I looked around to see if anyone had kept it here as a prank  When I didn't see anyone I started walking to my classes which was biology. In school I didn't have many friends. So I walked to my class alone . Biology was boring as usual. But when I got out of the class nothing was usual. Alex , the school clown was standing there his back on the door frame staring at me. Well at least that is what I thought. That was same for the other classes as well . He was there standing . I thought that it was going to stop but I was wrong it continued for a few days . And I would lying if I say that I didn't hope it was me he was looking for cause that was the only thing I thought for few days Now here you may think that I am stupid to think about a guy you don't even know but this whole dating, crush, love thing was really foreign to me and if that small thing was getting me closer I want it  Around two weeks after , Millie who I wouldn't say is my friend but she was in few of my classes , came to me in lunch and I was shocked cause no one ever approached me and I liked it like that ."Alex wants to talk to you" "Okay so he can come and talk to me " She rolled her eyes and looked behind her where Alex was gesturing her to go on "he wants to be your friend and likes you too" "He asked you to say that ?" "Yeah" I looked at Alex who was now grinning like an i***t  "So what is your answer" Millie asked  I looked at her with a confused reaction "do u like him back" "no I barely know him" " okay then I will leave to be" Millie turned away to go where Alex was . Just as she reached there and his face fell . Probably he is not good with rejection. Not my problem though. I stood up and walk out of the canteen to my locker to grab my books for the next class. I kept my books there and was about to leave when I bump to someone's chest . It was Alex. "What do you want" i asked him not understanding why was he doing what he was doing. Not that I had any idea about whatever he was planning.  "I want to be your friend"  "And why is that" " no reason"  "Sure then" I said and started moving towards my next class "Then why you said Millie no"  " what no" at my response he gave me a smirk because he knew that I know what is he talking about.  Next class was just as boring as the others were . My mind kept drifting to Alex and my conversation with Millie. He did not show any signs of liking me when talked back there . He was really normal like he genuinely only wanted to be a friend. I hope I didn't do anything wrong by agreeing to him .  The class ended and by the end I was going crazy because I couldn't stop thinking about him and the only thought was that what if he actually likes me and if yes then why As it was the last class I picked my bag up and started going towards the exit gate when Millie stopped me again. Great just great I couldn't stop thinking about my first conversation with her and now she is back again .  "It's good that you agreed to him" I raised my eyebrows at her remark like does he tell her every single thing . Well maybe. And with that she moved past me just giving me a small pat on my shoulders . I sighed and again began my journey to my house  During the complete walk to my house I felt someone's presence behind me and I did check it was Alex yet again. What was he trying to achieve by this . I tried ignoring him by thinking that he might also be going in the same direction but still I couldn't help feeling insecure and a little self conscious.  I reached home and ran into my room and checked from the window to see that he was still there looking up . I closed the curtains and sat on my bed sighing. I was about to take a nap to clear my mind when my sister came into my room. Just as she saw me her eyebrows furrowed signaling me to tell her what was wrong and I did I told her everything that has been happening from few weeks which I didn't bother telling her because how insignificant I thought it was to Millie and Alex approaching me today . She told that I made the right decision my agreeing to him but I still should take care.  Soon it was dinner time and I didn't feel like eating today because of how much stress I was taking so I didn't go down to eat instead stayed in my room watching Netflix in my phone . After a while I got a notification from i********:. I opened the app to check from whom it was . And I was shocked to see who that notification was from . Because it was from Alex....
