Tucker’s POV
I had to reject Elena today, and I really didn’t want to do it. Each time I get near enough to scent her, I want her so badly. Genesis was such a b***h to her last night, that I am ashamed to show my face to Elena. I can’t believe that she even threatened to go into the cell and kill her. But Genesis was scared to do it. I could smell the fear coming off of her too. She was not going to go into that cell. I am ashamed of myself for not being able to take up for and defend my mate. But I am in a hard place now. There is nothing that I can do without getting my pack attacked. Either by Blood Rose or by Stone Mist.
