Genesis’ POV
“Genesis McCullom, please stand for your sentence,” The council member nearest us spoke. He was the same member who had Alpha commanded Tucker’s Gamma, Carter, to tell the truth during his questioning. I stood up, but my legs were trembling. I didn’t know that I had been recorded that night. I honestly thought that it was going to be my word against Tucker’s. He didn’t see anything, so I thought that I was off the hook on that charge. Now I know why they had stopped me. It wasn’t for Tucker, because I could see the anger in her parent's eyes every time they looked at him. It was because they wanted him to be punished for what he did, and not get the easy way out.
