Tanner’s POV
I saw the man in question as he ran up to the gate with a look of surprise on his face. He cannot believe that we are here right now, especially since Elena just escaped. There would have been no time for us to get here, so I need to let him in on a couple of facts right now. I saw a woman run up behind him with several warriors with her. This must be the Genesis girl that Maggie told us about. I gave a smile to them, but it wasn’t a friendly smile at all. I can see that we have their attention now. I also see that she has a gun in her hand. The proof that she was going to kill my baby girl was obvious to me at that time.
